DEL BAUMGARTNER, President and CEO Del is a graduate of Indiana University. He began his career as an illustrator in the U.S. Air Force and then went on to become a designer on the Apollo 11 Missile Program at the ripe old age of age 23. Del has been Vice President of three national corporations and business development consultant to many of America's top 500 corporations.
Del is also an an avid Formula 1 and Vintage Car Racing enthusiast. In 2005, Del and a group of special friends (retired automotive designers and mold makers from General Motors and International Harvestor) built America's first street legal Indy-style sportscar, The BRAVA SPYDER S1 Competitione'. It took 3 years to build the prototype. The car was an instant hit and has recieved national attention and praise everywhere it has been shown. See the BRAVA SPYDER S1 on the CUSTOM BUILT CARS page.
Del also served as the Vice-President, President, and Special Events Chairman of Mercedes-Benz Club of America, Three Rivers Section for over 10 years and is currently an active member of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America and the Jaguar Club of Norh America, San Diego.
It is Del's intentions to build a world class Concours d' Elegance Collector Car Show and Classic Motorcar Road Rally in San Diego that will rival the annual Pebble Beach Monterey event. Del also intends to help raise money for charity and give recognition to the military, police, firemen, doctors and volunteers who serve our community and our country.
Del and his wife, Mary, from Scotland, have been married for 43 years. They have
two great children, John and Jaci. They recently moved from Indiana to San Diego. They love the ocean, California and being closer to their children.
MICHAEL J. GANS, Business Mentor Michael is a graduate of Hofstra
University, New York. Michael brings experience and maturity to BRAVA MOTORSPORTS. He has had a very successful career in sales, marketing, and manufacturing. Michael owns several businesses. He built a children's
clothing business in New York and took it from 0 to $25 M in sales in nine years.
He recently sold the company to Gerber and retired, or so he thought. After chasing around a little white ball for a while and realizing his game wasn't improving, Michael started volunteering. He has served as the chairman on several national committees and has won many awards for outstanding service to his community and his fellow man. Michael is a quiet, humble man. I am very fortunate to have Michael as an advisor, a friend, and business mentor to BRAVA MOTORSPORTS. I look forward to his friendship and wise counsel.
BRANDON THOMAS, Sports Advisor Brandon is a graduate of the University of North Texas. Brandon is the sportsman in the group. He has spent the last eight years as a professional BMX motocross racer. He is a member of the USA Cycling International Association, as well as the American Bicycle Association. Brandon has raced all over the world and serves as a role model to avid young cyclists around the world. Brandon has consistently won the praise of national sponsors and fans worldwide. We welcome his youth and enthusiasm,as well as his "never say die" attitude. Brandon will be helping BRAVA MOTORSPORTS develop its sports event marketing program and helping in the aquisition of national sports sponsors. Brandon looks forward to someday driving a "street legal" American Le Mans-style sportscar.
ARMANDO CARRASCO, Events - Mexico Armondo is a graduate of the
University of Mexico. Armondo is our motorcross, Baja racing and tourism expert. Armondo brings 20 years' experience as a promoter and marketer of special racing and sports events in Mexico. It is our intention to bring some of his knowledge and experience to BRAVA MOTORSPORTS to duplicate and add motorsports events in the U.S. Armondo brings knowledge, enthusiasm and previous experience with national sponsors to BRAVA MOTORSPORTS and invites all his friends and previous sponsors to join us.
CHAZ HOFF, Sales Rep Mid-West Chaz brings over 20 years' experiance in telecommunications and network marketing to BRAVA MOTORSPORTS. Chaz is a personal friend of the Lee Brayton racing family of Coldwater, Michigan and has ties with the Indy racing community. Chaz will be representing midwest customers who are looking for national exposure through motorsports racing.
