News Release ......... 7/14/2010 ....... Brava Motorspports, LLC President and CEO Del Baumgartner, announces the company is designing a solar electric hybrid vehicle that will combine the advantages of an all electric car with the long distance advantages of a combustion engine. The solar electric hybrid vehicle, as of yet unnamed, will feature ultra futuristic styling, an aluminum space frame, fibre composit body panels, carry 2 people, weight approximately 1250 lbs, and average 150 to 200 mpg. Baumgartner said that he plans on building the prototype, developing it, testing the concept, and having the mpg claims certified by an independent lab. After the prototype is built and proven, Brava Motorsports, LLC will decide to either sell the concept and production rights or partner with a production company and sell the vehicle themselves.
